Our cardio kickboxing program takes movements of the martial arts and combines them with the format of an aerobic class to create a high energy workout. While not designed as a self-defense class, the techniques you will learn are based upon the same skills taught in martial arts programs.
Unlike formal martial arts classes, there are no uniforms, no sparring and no board breaking to get between you and your workout. However, you will be punching and kicking your way to physical fitness, exercising your entire body. Both men and women will find our cardio kickboxing class challenging and exciting.
Our curriculum is designed by martial artists. It is not a dance style aerobic class with a few kicks thrown in. It is exercise through martial arts put to music. In addition to stretching and strengthening it’s a great way to release stress and tension. The class emphasis is on exercise. We strongly suggest registering early as class size is limited.
Who: Men and women any age 13 yrs or older. No previous experience is required. No sparring involved.

What to wear:
Workout clothes, athletic shoes ( No street shoes allowed), Bring a towel or mat.
Why:
The single biggest obstacle to continued training is boredom. This program, through the use of martial arts drills, will provide you with a very exciting format while you train. You will also gain some basic skills that will have a positive effect on your attitude. If sticking with a program has been difficult in the past, maybe you need to change your workout. Cardio Kickboxing may be just the program for you!
