Roger Hansen Juggler and Rope Spinner Demonstrations
Sat 6/25/2011
Sun 6/26/2011
This event features juggler and rope spinner, Roger Hansen, who delighted many fourth grade students with his demonstrations during school tours this May.ÂÂ
Although rope spinning has roots in western ranching skills, it falls more under the heading of “Cowboy Play” than “Cowboy Work”. Roger has been working to learn and preserve the vanishing skill of trick roping, including the now seldom seen art of “Knot Throwing”. His act involves no batteries or computer graphics. Bring the kids and come for a day filled with rope tricks and fun!
