The Pioneer Village Museum, Cameron, WI is happy to welcome back Treadle On,
an internet-based sewing machine collectors group on July 29-30, Friday 1-5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.ÂÂ
As in past years, the members are offering their expertise to anyone who has a treadle, hand crank or vintage electric sewing machine.
You will be able to get your machine cleaned, have basic parts replaced and learn more about its age, maintenance and operation in exchange for a $25 donation to the museum. There will also be demonstrations on the use of antique sewing machines and vendors selling manuals, accessories and parts. Pioneer Village is located 1 ½ miles west of Cameron on County Highway W and is open to the public Thursday through Sunday from 1-5 pm with extended hours for some special events. Coming events include Voyaguers Encampment - Aug. 5-6, a 50's Day and Antique and Classic Car Show - Aug. 13, and Vintage Baseball Tournament - Aug. 27.
