Grantoberfest – Saturday, September 17 – FREE ADMISSION!

Grantoberfest is a fun fall festival held at the Grantsburg Fairgrounds on Hwy 87 which was created as a way to showcase what Grantsburg has to offer. Our next Grantoberfest will be Saturday, September 17, 2011! As always, there will be lots to do and FREE TO ATTEND!

This year there will be a youth and adult division of the kickball tournament. Sign up forms are posted here. Be thinking of who you want on your team, your team name and team uniform (there are prizes, so be creative!). This is sponsored by Community Bank and proceeds go to the youth baseball program in Grantsburg. If you have questions, contact Bryan at 715-463-3456.

Wiener dog races! Do you have a wiener dog? This is one of the most popular events at Grantoberfest – don’t miss it! Sponsored by Grantsburg Animal Hospital. Entry forms are posted here. If you have questions, contact Bridget at 715-463-2536.

Scarecrow Decorating Contest: Bring your decorated scarecrow to the Chamber Info Booth between 8:30 and 10am to enter. Judging will be at 10:30 am. Prizes include ribbons and gift certificates for personal pan pizza from Holiday. One winner will be announced for each category: scariest, most realistic and most creative.

New this year: so far, for new events, we have a rock climbing wall and a big screen TV with Xbox 360 and Rockband! This is provided by the National Guard. We will also have a dunk tank sponsored by the Grantsburg Hockey Association.
