Edmond Medical Center officials say in most cases, children younger than 18 won’t be allowed in the hospital if they are not a patient. However, if the child is there because an immediate family member is hospitalized, the child probably will be allowed to visit and be asked to wear a face mask, hospital spokeswoman Leslie Buford said. The hospital also is limiting each patient to two visitors at a time, and visitors with flu-like symptoms are asked to stay away.
