2011 Winter Inspector Updates
Wisconsin’s four regional building inspector associations, in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Commerce Safety and Buildings Division, are offering training sessions in early 2011 about Wisconsin’s Electrical Code, Uniform Dwelling Code, and Commercial Building Code. These courses can provide continuing education credits for S&B administered inspection and DCQ credentials. Fire inspectors, designers, contractors, and others with an interest in Wisconsin's codes may also benefit from the programs.
Individuals holding S&B credentials can check their continuing education status online:
http://apps.commerce.state.wi.us/SB_Credential/SB_CredentialApp
After entering an individual customer identification number in the "Search for Individual or Company by Credential ID" search field, and selecting "Search," results will appear at the bottom of the page (scroll down). By double–clicking the name in the search results, the current continuing ed status will be shown. If you have questions regarding a continuing education status, contact the S&B Credential Unit, 608-261-8500, [email protected].
