Commercial Building and UDC Inspector

The City of Eau Claire has an opening for a full-time Commercial Building and UDC Inspector. This position is responsible for inspection and enforcement of state and local building, heating and electrical codes and other codes and ordinances as assigned. Must possess a general knowledge and understanding of the zoning code and other development-related ordinances. Must be certified by the State of Wisconsin in Commercial Building and in Uniform Dwelling Code (includes building, HVAC, plumbing and electrical). Persons with at least one of these two certifications and the ability to obtain the other within 6 months will be considered.
