COMMERCIAL HVAC, PLUMBING AND UDC INSPECTOR

The City of Eau Claire has an opening for a full-time Commercial HVAC, Plumbing and UDC Inspector. This position is responsible for inspection and enforcement of state and local heating, plumbing, building, and electrical codes, and other codes and ordinances as assigned.

Must possess a general knowledge and understanding of the zoning code and other development-related ordinances. Must be certified as a Wisconsin Journeyman or licensed as a Master Plumber. Must have or have the ability to obtain certification as a Uniform Dwelling Code Inspector (includes building, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) and Commercial Building Inspector within six months of employment.

Salary range is $46,653 - $61,309 plus fringe benefits.
