The City of Oshkosh (pop. 66,000) is accepting applications for a Chief Building Official. This supervisory position represents, manages and administers all building inspection functions and secures compliance with city and state codes, regulations and policies governing building construction. Requirements include: a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; minimum 5 years of experience in building construction and inspection, including at least 3 years of inspection supervision and code enforcement; experience in commercial building plan reviews; Commercial Building, UDC Building, HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing certifications; and a valid WI Drivers License. Salary range is $65,922 – $84,891, plus excellent benefits.
