DESCRIPTION This is a casual position that would have responsibilties for telephone triage/advice nurse; triages walk-in patients; administers medications including, IVs and assists providers with exams as needed; performs nursing procedures including procedures requiring RN licensure, and patient education duties within guidelines set by facility. DUTIES 1. Plans for delivery of optimum patient care, assesses and delivers patient care based on department and facility standards. 2. DESCRIPTION The Staff RN is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care, including elderly, adults, adolescents, children and post-natal, and for providing an environment of unsurpassed service. This position is 0.7 FTE. Most of the shifts are evening rotations and every other weekend. Every other holiday.
