There are laws requiring that dogs
be leashed or in a kennel.There are ordinances against barking dogs. Please be kind to your neighbors and keep your dog quiet.
Each spring and fall the Village provides the means for cleaning up your home/yard. The village crew will pick up most things that you have brought out to your curb for a nominal fee. They are unable to take anything with Freon. This is also the time when they will pick up branches and compost at no charge.
Dogs over 6 months old need to be licensed. Annual licenses are available
at the Village Office.
Licenses for spayed or neutered dogs are $3.00;
all other dogs are $8.00.
The license expires December 31.Garbage service is on Tuesdays.
Bags are $2.60 a piece and can be purchased at the Village Office or Centuria Stop. Fiber Recycling one week, Co-mingle Recycling the next. Only Holdt Sanitation bags will be picked up.Holdt Sanitation –
Jeff Holdt 715-554-2780The Village provides a dumpster for recycling cardboard on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10 until noon. The dumpster is at the dump site during the summer months and under the water tower during the winter months.
ATVs are allowed on most Village streets year round.
The speed limit is 10 m.p.h..
Snowmobile traffic is allowed on most Village streets as a means to get from your home to the trail.
Recreational vehicles must obey all traffic rules.ATVs NO TRAFFIC IS ALLOWED ON 4TH STREET FROM POLK AVE TO MICHIGAN AVE OR ON MICHIGAN AVE FROM 2ND TO 4TH STREET. All drivers must be licensed.
