Luck Winter Carnival

February 8th, 9th, & 10th - 2013
 

Friday
54th Queen Pageant and Coronation
7:00 P.M. Luck School
Tickets - Adults $6, Students $4

Saturday

All day till 2:30 pm Kiddy Snowman contest (if snow) Judging at 2:30p.m. Cash Prize ages 6 & under and 7-12 Fort Luck Park.

 7am –11am- Luck Lions Club Annual Breakfast. Luck School Cafeteria. Eggs, ham, sausage, and pancakes.

 9am-3pm– Semi-annual book sale at the New Luck Public Library on Main Street.

 9 am—4pm—Luck Public School Alumni Basketball Tournament at the Luck School on Seventh Street. Sponsored by the Luck Booster Club. Sign up at Bon Ton by February 6th 2013.

 10am -3pm 7th Annual Vintage/New Radar Run. Registration at 9 am Big Butternut boat landing. Vintage Oval Race at 10 am. Radar Run 11 am. For more information contact John @ 715-472-4305.

 10am-5pm– Craft Fair/Vendor Expo located at Home and Away Ministries on Park Avenue. If you are a vendor and are interested in having a booth please contact Gwen Wright at 715-684-9506

 10am-3:00pm - BBQ’s, Pie, Ice Cream & Coffee Served at the Luck Senior Center located on 2nd Ave . Sponsored by the Luck Seniors and the American Legion

 10am-7pm– Bingo at the Luck Lions Hall 25 cents per card.  Door prizes all day.  Register your Winter Carnival button.  Food and drink by Northland First Responders.

 10am– The Annual Winter Carnival Medallion  Hunt begins. Clues are posted hourly at the DBS Hall.  Prize $150.00.  Bring the medallion to the DBS Hall on Saturday or contact Laurie Ince.
 

10:30 am—Kiddy Sawdust Pile at Fort Luck Park located behind the Luck Lions Hall. Two age groups, ages 2-7 and 8-14. This event is sponsored by Quanex Building Products in Luck.

 5:00pm-7:00pm– 47th Annual Grand Marshal Reception at the Luck Senior Center.  Past Royalty will be featured.  This year’s host Grand Marshal is Marianne Tomlinson.  The Public is very welcome and encouraged to attend.

7pm– 16th Annual Torchlight Parade Starts at Home and Away Ministries. 210 Park Avenue Luck. Parade Route– West on Park Avenue; Right onto Main Street; Right onto 2nd Avenue; Right onto 1st Street.  Disband at the DBS Hall.  Questions or for information please contact

8am Registration for the Ice Fishing Contest begins

 9am-3pm– Ice Fishing Contest.. Big Butternut Lake boat landing$5.00 Entry Fee.

 - Payback for the top 3 heaviest fish in each category. Concessions available on the ice starting at 8am.

  Purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win any of the following prizes. $200.00 GC to Van Meters, $200.00 GC to Daefflers, $150.00 GC to Wayne’s, $150.00 GC to Frederic Grocery, $50.00 GC Skol Haus, $50.00 GC Main Dish, & $50.00 GC Luck-E.
